Makou

A full set of playing cards thematically designed to illustrate the unique culture shared by Hawaii locals. "Mākou" means "us" in Hawaiian, thus I brainstormed what is unique to "us" or my local community and challenged myself to communicate numbers and suites through illustration & design.

This was one of my first projects I created at USC that was centered about my identity as a Hawaii local.
